Jethro Tull - 25-11-1975 (Soundcheck)

July 28, 1975 | Oakland, CA
Soundcheck - NOT A CONCERT - no real songs played here

This is just one long track as the band members plays bits of this and that
while they get the levels correct for the evening's performance.

It is a bit of flute, a bit of guitar, but mostly John's organ, WHICH WILL NOT "unite with the guitar to provide a textural overlay rich in percussion counter rhythms "YOU WILL NOT HEAR" young Gerald Bostock's poem taken up once more, sung of course, by Mr. Anderson and "AT NO TIME WILL YOU HEAR, "the guitarist, the drummer, and I myself, blend and aspire towards eager participation in anticipation of the orgasmic sensation to follow".

You do get to hear the string quartet warming up a bit.

You can also hear the clandestine taper whispering to a friend as they record, what must have been for them, a really neat experience.

TOTAL TIME 25:50

THE BAND
Ian Anderson - vocals, flute, acoustic guitar
Martin Barre - guitars
John Evan - keyboards
Jeffrey Hammond - bass
Barrie Barlow - drums
Liz and company - string quartet

sounds pretty bad
FOR COMPLETISTS ONLY
